Did you know that Popular Photography voted Denver the ‘most photo-friendly city in America’ last year? And it’s been named countless times as one of the nation’s most –walkable cities… not just for its pedestrian only long streets like the 16th street mall, but also for its parks and bridges and eclectic, cozy neighborhoods.
No wonder we opened a digital studio in the heart of this walkable, photographable town!
As for things to do in Denver, here are some of the top-rated tours and sites. Enjoy!

Denver Inside and Out
Denver Inside and Out is a unique walking tour/scavenger hunt/street theater based on the 1922 robbery of $200,000 from the Denver Mint. A leisurely walk through downtown brings you to shops where clues related to the actual robbery lie. Character actors wait to add a realistic feel to the experience–and offer some photo opps. Participants of all ages enjoy the added twist on a walking tour of some of Denver’s top attractions such as Larimer Street and the 16th Street mall, and appreciate the off-the beaten track sights the tour follows.
The Denver Art Museum
The Denver Art Museum is the jewel of downtown. From the outside you will be amazed by the blend of ultra–modern and traditional architecture (don’t forget your camera), and inside you can see exhibits that span artistic and historical traditions from around the world. Exhibits change on a regular basis.
Denver Zoo, Denver Botanic Gardens and Museum of Natural History
These three attractions are all within walking distance of each other – just northeast of Downtown.
Each offers a plethora of photo opportunities, and is fun for the entire family. To see all three would be more than a full day, so plan accordingly.
The Molly Brown House Museum
Fans of Titanic can pay a visit to the home of the sunken ship’s most famous survivor. The opulent home was built in 1889, and gives you a sense of the period and the life of its vibrant and “unsinkable” resident. Fans of this museum may want to check out other historical sites through the Denver Story Trek service.
