South Fort Collins Business Profile

Leave A Legacy is your own local one-stop memory station. I started the business after reading an article in the Wall Street Journal that gave me the idea for restoring photos and videos.DSCN0225

The article gave me insight about where people’s photos were headed. The masses would not scrapbook anymore—it would all go digital. I figured people would need a place to go for help in the new digital era, and I was eager to do something cutting edge.

Nine years later, I operate a rewarding business that provides a needed and positive service to the community. The team at Leave A Legacy believes everyone has a story to tell, not just one person in a family should be the holder of the family memories, and our lives and our memories are finite and priceless.

Most homes have buried treasures. Loads of family memories are stashed away in old media, waiting for modernization and sharing. People need a place they can go that is full of the ideas, knowhow and equipment that gets the job done when sharing those memories. We work with various video tapes; home movie films; photos; slides; negatives; albums; and old audio, like reel-to-reel and cassettes; and more. The team is bubbling over with ideas about bringing your memories back to life, including DVDs, digital files, books, reprints, restorations and slideshows.

There isn’t much we can’t do. When a client comes in with something they need done, the answer is generally. “Yes, we can do it.”  People can bring their project to us in whatever state or organization it is in (or lack of organization), and we can do it all and provide
